Row X Row 2018

We are so excited to announce that we are participating in Row by Row Experience for the second year in a row. If you are new to Row x Row, it is a quilt block shop hop (try saying that 10X fast!) that happens all around the country. Participating shops design their own quilt block to match the theme of the yearn and distribute it for free to anyone that visits their shop! It is an incredibly fun event that we thrilled to participate in. 

This year’s theme is “Sew Musical” so we decided to do a modern take on an iconic musical moment. Just like last year, this year's block is a fun foundation paper pieced project designed by our dynamic duo Keely Shaw & Amber Platzer Corcoran. Great for all skill levels, our block comes together almost as fast as a 3-minute pop song. For quilting, Keely kept it super simply following just 4 lines of the crosswalk. For us, it was all about keeping it clean and showcasing the real starts of the stage, but there are so many fun quilting options and we can't wait to see what you all come up with!

We are also selling kits made from American Made Cotton Solids that include the pattern, pattern pieced printed on foundation paper, and all the fabric you need to complete the block. 

Note: This is an in-store event only and we are unable to distribute the patterns or kits online at this time. After the Row X Row event comes to a close, the pattern will become available for free online and we will be selling kits online as well.
