Jaime and I will be teaching a garment sewing retreat at A Gathering of Stitches in Maine next week! Peppered into our weekend is lots of yarny fun, so it's the perfect retreat for those of you with multicraftual leanings. While there, we'll be casting on for a KAL, and we would love for all to join! If you are near Portland, ME, we will be hosting a KAL night at the retreat which will be open to the public.
Eyen Knit-along Night
A Gathering of Stitches
Friday September 23rd 6-8pm
Please come by and say hello and knit awhile! If you'd like to join the KAL from afar, use the #fancygatheringKAL tag to join in and share your progress.
The Eyen hat is designed by Portland knitting superstar Bristol Ivy, who can always be counted on for stylish knits that are fun to stitch. Eyen is knit with Quince + Co's Osprey, created and spun in Maine. What a perfectly Maine-tastic KAL to create a souvenir for our time in the northeasternmost state!
Jaime has chosen the irresistible color, Honey, for her Eyen. This color, shown in the pattern sample, is the color of golden Autumn leaves.
I chose the wardrobe classic navy (and totally predictable choice for me lately) Pea Coat. I can't wait to cast on, I'm so excited for this hat! On size 10.5 needles we are sure to have our new hats before the weekend is through!
We hope to see you soon!
