FAQ

Do you sell fabric in decimal increments?

At this time, we only offer whole-yard increments on our website. However, if you would like a decimal amount of fabric, please round your purchase up to the nearest yard, and put the amount you would actually like of that in the notes section of your cart. We'll make sure to refund you any overage paid when we cut and fulfill your order. 

Do you offer fabric swatches?

Unfortunately we don't sell or cut swatches of the fabrics we carry since so many of them are fashion industry remnants or take months to get in and we wouldn't be able to guarantee that color/dyes would match between the time a swatch was sent and an order was placed. We do try to color match the pictures on our website to give the closest representation that we can though (with drape pictures being added soon as well), so I hope that you'll find those useful! Please let us know if you can think of any other information/pictures that we can add to our site to help in the selection process though-we're always looking for new ideas!!

Do you sell gift cards online?

We do! You can purchase digital gift cards here 

The Digital Gift Cards are a digital code that is emailed to you or your recipient on the date you select when adding it to card. The digital cards only work on our online webstore. Choose this option if you anticipate your giftee wanting to sign up for classes.

Why isn't my gift card working online?

We have two different kinds of gift cards—a plastic card that only works in our brick and mortar store, and a digital card that is emailed to you or your recipient and only works on our webstore. If you have a plastic card and are wanting to place an order online with it, we will need to convert it to the digital code kind before you can use it online. Email us at orders@fancytigercrafts.com with the code on the back of your card and our web team will be happy to do this for you.

Do you offer wholesale?

We offer our Fancy Tiger Crafts brand sewing and knitting patterns for wholesale purchasing. Please email us at orders@fancytigercrafts.com for more information on setting up a wholesale account.

Do you charge sales tax on online orders?

We charge state/city/county sales tax on all orders shipping to a Colorado address per state law.

What is your return policy?

Return Policy
If you are unsatisfied with your purchase for any reason, we will accept returns for store credit or exchange within 60 days of original purchase date. A valid receipt must be presented in any of the following forms: printed, e-mailed, or saved under the customer's name in our POS system.
We will not accept returns on the following items:
  • Yarn that has been used or wound.
  • Fabric that is sold by the yard.
  • Roving that is sold by the ounce.
  • Printed materials including books and patterns.
  • Items that are marked “On Sale” or red-marked in-store.
Shipped Orders
If your package arrives and any of the following situations occur, please contact us at  within 72 hours of receiving your package. We will gladly fix these issues and cover the shipping costs to remedy the situation.
  • Wrong item received
  • Missing item
  • Damaged items
Shipped Returns and Exchanges
Customers are responsible for covering all shipping costs to mail items back to Fancy Tiger Crafts in the event of a return or exchange. Unfortunately, Fancy Tiger Crafts cannot refund your shipping costs or cover the cost of shipping a return to us.
If you would like to process a return for shipped orders, please contact  with the following information
  • Order number
  • Name
  • Email Address
  • Phone Number
For shipped exchanges, please provide the following additional information.
  • Item(s) that you are returning.
  • Item(s) that you would like in exchange.
We will hold your desired items and will mail your exchange as soon as we receive your returned item(s). Fancy Tiger Crafts will cover the costs of shipping one exchanged package.
Color Matching
We understand the difficulty in color matching online. Please feel free to email us at  for clarification on any items or to see how multiple colors interact with each other. We are happy to help you!

Do your PDF sewing patterns come with a copy shop file?

They do! All of our brand of sewing patterns come with a copy shop file formatted for 30" wide roll printers, which any copy shop should be able to handle.

How do I access the pdf pattern I purchased?

When you order a pattern PDF you will receive an email with the download link shortly after purchasing. You can also access your pattern by logging into your account with us here. If you have any problems with your file or have questions, please email us at orders@fancytigercrafts.com and we'll be happy to troubleshoot.

If you purchase a sewing pattern, please be sure to turn off all page-scaling before printing in order to make sure your pattern prints at the right scale

Can I have my yarn wound?

We are happy to wind your yarn! Just let us know in the “Notes” section in your shopping cart when placing your order online. We'll wind it for you, with no surcharge as long as it was purchased at our store. Please note that wound yarn is not returnable.
