Kaylee's Shibori Adventure Tank

On Friday we released our newest sewing pattern for knits, the Adventure Tank!
All this week we are going to be showing off some awesome samples of this hot weather wonder.

Up first is Kaylee with her Rayon Shibori racerback version.

Pattern: Fancy Tiger's Adventure Tank - Racerback Version
Materials: 1 yard Navy Shibori Bamboo Jersey (95% Rayon, 5%Spandex)
Size Made: Large
Modifications: None

First let me say, making these tanks is a total dream. Simple as can be, super comfortable, and stylish too. This has definitely become one of my summer wardrobe staples. I have actually already made four of these! I just can't get enough. This version is definitely the slinkiest and most fun I made though.

The construction of this shirt is so fast. They definitely come together in under 2 hours, especially once you get the hang of it. That is partly why it is totally reasonable for me to have made four already!

The other reason I stocked my drawer with this timeless tank is it's effortless fit and versatility. It looks good with jeans or a skirt, tucked in to a high waisted bottom or hanging loose, out to dinner or hiking up a mountain. Seriously! This is a tank for all occasions!

The slinky rayon jersey I used for this one is a bit more difficult to work with than the hemp/cotton solids I used for a few of my other ones, but it is totally worth the extra effort. The rayon gives it such a nice drape and thinner fabric makes it nice and light for hot summer days. Plus, I'm a little shibori/indigo crazy right now so it really is the perfect print for me.

Come back tomorrow for more Adventure Tanks!
